Privacy and Retention of Private Information
Camp Abby hold in strict confidence the private information collected as part of the employment and camp registration process. Access and the sharing of collected information is on a need to know basis. Registration forms of Campers are held for a period of 3 years. Personnel files of individuals who have been hired are permanently retained and archived after 3 years.
A member of the Camp Board is designated as the privacy officer who has responsibility for responding to, investigating and reporting on any privacy breach. The privacy officer of the Board may not be drawn from any executive officer of the Board.
